Fonts and Stuff

It's been a rough winter, too bad it's not yet over. Hospital visits, Badger losses, Packer wins?! Everything's been covered, but what will be next. Still waiting on the blizzards for snowskating. There's a nice little shack out back at the apartment that I want to skate down when we have enough snow.

I've just realized that I don't like blogspot anymore. They don't have Helvetica as a font choice. Like I understand that it's an expensive font and not that many people have it. But really, my computer has it, thus it should be available to me. I'm alright with picking back up font after back up font for those of you who aren't graphic designers who might read this. BUT REALLY I WANT HELVETICA. I'm thinking about getting a Helvetica tie, and even a Helvetica tattoo. For those of you who don't know anything about fonts, Helvetica is the most used type font in the world. For the whole set of most of the type faces it costs 568 dollars before tax. It's a pretty penny, but it's a prettier font.

So I know that many people don't read this, but for those of you who do. If I see any comments about using Comic Sans MS or Trajan, or any other terrible fonts. It might get ugly. If you're in the market for new fonts and don't wanna spend money. Check out the website http://www.dafont.com. They have tons of user created fonts all free for download. Just don't attempt to make money off of that. It's supposedly illegal.

It's a New Year

So it's a new year all right. Another year for us to make it or break it right? Hopefully this year I'll get some more views, and followers.

Some good news to start off the year, I was contracted to design ID badges for the company I work my day job at. Yes I did say "day job". I know it's unfortunate that I can't just take pictures all day and make enough to just run this business.

Some bad news, I've had some pretty scary health issues. I have a couple of doctors appointments soon that should clear everything up.

I hope that the few people that do read this have a happy new year and spread the love of this blog to their friends and family.
